The HeatAdapt smart module uses 15-minute Nord Pool day-ahead electricity prices. However, for stable operation, it is not optimal to start and stop the heat pump every 15 minutes, as heating systems require longer operating cycles. Therefore, HeatAdapt automatically ensures that control commands are applied for a minimum of one hour, based on the average hourly electricity price.
Please note that in many Nord Pool regions, smart meters are not yet capable of reporting 15-minute consumption data, which is why electricity billing may still be based on hourly average prices.
