Likely the fastest return on investment for a heating system
HeatAdapt PRO optimizes heating systems in high energy-consuming buildings based on hourly electricity market prices.
Areas of use
- Heat pumps with a heating capacity of more than 20kW
- Hybrid solutions combining different heating sources
- Commercial buildings, industrial spaces, and apartment complexes.
- Large single-family buildings, block houses, outdoor pools
How does it work?
Smart control takes into account the dynamic electricity market price for each hour including network fees, the building's calculated heating demand, and the outdoor temperature, adjusting control based on the heat pump model. This ensures the maximum possible savings according to the hourly market prices for each day and the building's heating needs.
Effective heating schedules
Heating schedules optimised on the basis of the building's metering data ensure the highest savings from fluctuations in electricity exchange prices.
Detailed measurement and data analysis
With up-to-the-minute metering, we analyse the performance of the heating system and optimise heating schedules and energy use to maximise energy cost savings.
Controls based on the unique characteristics of the heating system.
Control logic tailored to the heating system takes into account the specificities of each building and the readings of additional metering devices to ensure smooth operation of even the most complex systems.
Timing your heating to off-peak hours can deliver significant savings
12% - 20% per year
saved by the smart module for our customers in 2023
up to 28% per month
reduced electricity costs in the months with the biggest savings, spring-autumn 2023
* Savings are based on a study of over ten Nordic buildings during the 2023/24 heating period, measuring energy consumption, room temperatures, and heat pump parameters to estimate electricity cost savings. Actual energy savings for a specific building may vary based on the building's characteristics, the heating system, occupant consumption habits, and fluctuations in power market prices.
Intraday fluctuations in electricity prices can be up to 20 cents/kWh
In 2023, the average intraday electricity price fluctuation was more than 12 cents/kWh. In September, it was as high as 20 cents/kwh.
